The University of St Andrews Men's Shinty Club will be holding a a 6-a-side tournement on Sunday 6th of May (Bank holiday weekend) to celebrate 40 years of Shinty at the University, it is an open event and teams of all levels of skill are invited. If you wish to take part please contact me (Joe Henderson) by email at jprh@st-andrews.ac.uk as soon as possible. There will be a £20 entry fee per team to cover costs. There has been quie a lot of interest already so if you want to attend please contact me as soon as possible so I know how many pitches, refs etc I need.

Because we are celebrating 40 years of Shinty at the university we are planning a significant evening event, exact details of that haven't been confirmed as I don't want to book a venue until I have some idea of numbers. Hopefully we should be able to lay on some food (although there might be a small additional charge for that) and I'm sure the drink will flow. So ff you are planning to stay for the evening, and all are welcome, please just let me know for numbers sake.

I realise I number of teams are coming a long way but unfortunatly because we have a lot of our old boys attending the event our spare beds, sofas and floors are all pretty much booked up so we can't really offer to put anyone up. I have however, included some details of affordable accommadation in St Andrews below, as well as the address of where the event is actually taking place.
